Samsung has stopped the production of its Galaxy Note 7 due to its failure to find permanent solutions to the fault in the device that had reportedly caused fire while charging.

The company had recalled the product twice before this eventual cancellation. The Note 7 was intended as Samsung’s answer to Apple’s iPhone 7.

This is not a good time for Samsung as the company faces a  law court in United State, following  faults in its washing machines which were reported to have caused explosion in some homes.

There is speculation that Samsung might call for the replacement of affected model in US and other part of the world. The company recalled 70,000 washing in Australia last year after claims they had caused nearly 100 fires in the country
